I started hand-carving these without really knowing what I was making.  After I made them I decided they would be great in the kitchen for serving or preparing but if you look at these photos and thing of something else they would be great for then it would be just as legitimate!  (and please let me know if you have any good ideas for these - I would love to hear it!)  Some suggestions I have had are combs for someone with a really large beard or maybe a horses mane. Or using them as tools for wooking with wood and fibers?  I like the abiguity.
The Walnut is finished with my beeswax and mineral oil blend I use on all my wood utensils I carve.  So they are completely food-safe if you want to use them that way!  They are 4 1/4" x 5 1/4" x 1/4"
